The Sicilian
Villa Company
It was my
experience and love of Sicily that prompted me to
want to make Sicily my home. I started looking at
properties for sale and finally, after a whole year
of searching, found a beautiful place near Ragusa
in 1999.
It was during
the next two years, whilst working on renovating
my villa that The Sicilian Villa Company was born.
The Sicilian Villa
Company specialises in property rentals located
primarily in the South and Southeast of Sicily and
our holiday homes provide a combination of tradition
and practicality. You may relax in the countryside
in a “masseria” (Sicilian farmhouse),
enjoy one of our seafront villas with their panoramic
views of the sea, or immerse yourself in history
in one of our baroque town properties in the Noto
Valley or an apartment in Ortygia, Siracusa’s
old town.
I am still fascinated
by the diversity of Sicily’s landscape and
history and am anxious for everyone who visits to
have the opportunity to explore and share in all
that Sicily has to offer.
Our goal is to
make your holiday a relaxed and happy memory and
if there is any service that we can provide or information
you require, that we have not mentioned in our literature,
please just ask.
We have developed
a network of local Sicilians who are available to
guide you through the myriad of historical and architectural
sights. We can also help you arrange a variety of
tours including nature, walking, visiting Mt. Etna,
scuba diving and snorkeling, fishing and cycling.
It is also possible for you to be met at the airport
and escorted to your chosen property.
Sicily is famous
for its gastronomic delights and if you are interested
it is possible for us to arrange cooking classes
for you in your own villa. Likewise we can arrange
for meals to be prepared for you and recommend restaurants
and help you make reservations. Our network extends
to professional catering and photography services
and we would be delighted to facilitate a wedding
or special occasion for you.
The choices
are almost endless but it’s up to you how
much or little you want to do once you get here.
Don’t forget, you can always come back!
