Situated on a small private road, separated from the rocky shore by only a line of sentry plants and dwarf palms, this delightful traditional stone villetta is close to the action and yet totally private and secluded. Sampieri dominates one end of the stunning 180 degree sea view.
The rocky shoreline is easily accessible for sunbathing and swimming and for those who prefer sand there is a rarely frequented beach just a few minutes walk further along the coast.
Relax on the wrap-around stone terrace shaded by grapevines and watch the local fishing boats bobbing on the blue sea just beyond the stone walled garden. The recently renovated villetta is cool and comfortable with a large living area, adjoining kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. The living room has a fireplace for use on winter evenings. The living room and kitchen both open onto the large terrace, encouraging outdoor dining and living. Behind the house there is a vegetable and fruit garden.

The area
Sampieri and villetta salvatore are in a great position for travelling in the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa, an hours drive will get you to “Ortigia” the old town of Siracusa. 30 minutes drive and you may visit the beautiful town of Ragusa Ibla, the Castle at Donnafugata and 10 minutes drive and you can relax on the white sandy beach at Donnalucata.
The coast road to Siracusa is very pretty, on the way to Siracusa it is worth stopping at Marzamemi and Portopalo Di Capo Passero, two small fishing villages.
