Modica
Fabulously restored and designed old Posada ( a resting place for travellers on horseback) only a short distance from sandy beaches and in the heart of Baroque Sicily.
Villa Posada is situated within the Val di Noto near Modica, a fabulous baroque town recognised by UNESCO World Heritage. Surrounded by the beautiful Sicilian countryside and only 4 kilometres away from lovely sandy beaches. This gorgeous property has been remarkably restored from an ancient ‘Posada’- a resting place for travellers on horseback into a stylish and contemporary villa. The property has retained many of its original features including interwoven cane roofs, chalk and chestnut beams and exposed old stone walls. The combination of the contemporary design decor and the preservation of the old features work wonderfully and make Villa Cavallo a truly wonderful place to enjoy your holiday. There are eight charming double bedrooms all elegantly furnished with minimalist contemporary design and ensuite bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own satellite TV, Jacuzzi and internet connection and face onto a central courtyard featuring a magnificent old carob tree. The six rooms on the ground floor all have a veranda overlooking the surrounding Sicilian terrain. Surrounding the property is a lovely and well maintained Arabian style garden as well as the pool, essential for cooling down and relaxing by in the hot summer months.
