Villa Panarea is a classic aeolian house; with its flat roof, white stucco walls and columned terraces that overlook some spectacular views including the islands of Lipari and Stromboli. The villas hillside position captures this idyllic scenery perfectly.
The classic aeolian theme continues inside the property, where the owner has tastefully decorated the villa using built in stone beds, seating areas and tables. The decor works perfectly with the relaxed atmosphere of the island and is both stylish as it is comfortable.
There are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as an outdoor shower. The kitchen is pretty and practical. The living room complete with fireplace is also very nice and leads out onto the shaded terrace area. The terrace is the ultimate place to soak up the splendour of Panarea. Here you can sit on the white stone seating areas with cushions enjoying your evening aperitif or meal. If thats not enough there is also a pretty seperate area to the side of the villa with an inbuilt barbeque, ideal for cooking the locally caught fish.

Panarea is the smallest of the Aeolian islands and an ancient inactive volcano. It is a splendid combination of lush vegetation, clear waters and typical Aeolian white houses. Panarea is renowned for being a hotspot for the elite tourist.
The main village, San Pietro consists of a group of white houses clustered along the eastern side of the island. Here you will find plenty of excellent restaurants, bars and boutiques. There are thermal springs near the village of Punta di Peppe e Maria. Scuba diving is a popular excursion and you can even swim to a shipwreck between the offshore rocks of Lisca Bianca and Bottaro.
Everything on the island is in very close proximity. Cars are not permitted on the island; forms of transportation include golf carts, mopeds and boats that can all be hired. There are also some excellent boat tours of the island.
Travelling to the island is easy, there is a ferryboat and hydrofoil service that connects Sicily with the islands. The service can also take you between the islands of Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi. A helicopter service is also available between the islands.
