This wonderful end of 19th century farmhouse has been stylishly renovated and converted into a holiday home, it is sat on the side of a hill scattered with olive and carob trees. The views of the countryside and coast are amazing and the land stretches from one side of the Iblean mountain valley to the other.
Under the front terrace is a swimming pool and an outside shower, another terrace at the rear of the property leads to a pretty garden. From the terrace there are two separate entrances to the property. One entrance leads down six steps into a kitchen/diner, living room, two bedrooms (one with a double and one with a twin) and a bathroom with a shower. The other entrance leads into a lovely living room with beautiful views of the surrounding country-side, up seven steps leads you to a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. A corridor leads to another double bedroom; there is a safe within the corridor wall if needed. Six steps lead down to a dining room and another kitchen with doors to a terrace. On a mezzanine level “the attic” there are three single beds.

The white sandy beaches of Caucana, Punta Secca and Marina di Ragusa are only a few miles away. The towns of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli are an extraordinary example of baroque architecture and at only a 15 minute drive away offer a great excuse to explore the endless mazes of mysterious, inviting and little cobbled streets.
The Castle of Donnafugata is a short and pleasant drive through lovely countryside and passes numerous farms. At the castle you can take a tour, visit its exotic gardens get lost in the stone labyrinth or tickle your tastebuds by tying some of the local food including fresh ricotta.
Siracusa, Noto (European capital of baroque) and Catania are all within easy reach and make a perfect day trip out.
