Villa overview
Villa Alessia is situated just a mile away from sandy beaches which lie on the edge of a nature reserve. Located within an elegant complex of private houses, this villa has a wonderful garden full of typical Mediterranean flora and a private pool. The main house has am open plan living area and kitchen complete with a fireplace, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bath). The mezzanine level reached by a staircase is also open plan and has an additional double bed and can used as a study. The decor throughout is stylish and simple and there is air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Outside, there is an additional bathroom with shower, handy for when returning from the beach, a nice shaded area perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing complete with sun-lounges and barbecue.
Donnalucata is famous for its small fish market, which is open everyday. There are also some good restaurants, bars, supermarkets and for ice-cream lovers, two very good ice-cream parlours!

The area
Marina di Ragusa and Donnalucata are very close by and are great sea-side towns with many good restaurants and bars. Donnalucata's fish market is open everyday. The beaches are just 800 Meters from the property amd sandy with shallow clear water ideal for children. The beach at Playa Grande is on the edge of the natural reserve of the Irminio river. Some of the most beautiful UNESCO listed baroque towns are within a very short driving distance including Scicli, Ragusa Ibla and Modica. Noto, Siracusa and Catania are also within easy reach and make a perfect day out.
