Villa overview

A wonderful house dating back from the Sixteenth century. Located in the heart of antique Modica only a stones throw away from the San Giorgio Cathedral. The house has been restored using local stone and the floors are of an antique stone, very typical to the local area. The stone vaults are very characteristical and add a distinct ambiance to the property.

Enter the property on the ground floor where there are two rooms and an original grotta (cave). You will also find the antique well here that still collects rainwater like it has done for centuries. Stairs lead up to the covered terrace where there is a magnificent view of Modica, ideal for having breakfast alfresco or a candlelit dinner. From here you can access the living room, kitchen, two double bedrooms, one with ensuite and a second bathroom with shower. The house has been furnished with lovely antique furniture complementing the original style of the house.

Casa Modica is perfect for those seeking both relaxation and the excitement of a small bustling town. The house is located in a very quiet street where no vehicles can pass. It is possible to park your car in the street behind the house. It is possible to request a further one or two single beds in the living area, cooking and cleaning is also available on request.
