wonderfully restored stone cottage only 10 minutes away from the long white sandy beaches. Situated off a quiet country lane Casa d'Aglica is a delightful holiday home full of sicilian charm. Nestled within a well maintained garden full of typical plants like olive trees and cacti with a small pool to cool down and relax in.

Inside, the cottage has been nicely restored making use of some of its original features. There is a well equipped kitchen and living area with fireplace. There is 1 double and 1 twin bedrooms with 1 bathroom and a seperate wc downstairs.

The outside area is perfect for enjoying the endless warm nights and starlit sky. A wonderful and cosy Sicilian hideaway, yet perfect for visiting some of Sicily's most natural and historic charms.

The UNESCO towns of Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto are all within easy reach. Catania and the glorious Mt Etna are also only a 90 minutes drive away.

The area

At Casa d'Aglica you are in a great position for travelling in the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa. An hours drive will get you to “Ortigia” the old town of Siracusa and in a 30 minutes drive you may visit the beautiful town of Ragusa Ibla, the Castle at Donnafugata and 10 minutes drive and you can relax on the white sandy beach at Donnalucata.

The coast road to Siracusa is very pretty, on the way to Siracusa it is worth stopping at Marzamemi and Portopalo Di Capo Passero, two small fishing villages.
